How the art of making pancakes is a lot like writing a blog.

Life is not a recipe. Surely, though – if it was, it should absolutely be pancakes, right? They’re delightfully unpredictable, often messy and best enjoyed with sweet things like syrup, jam and whipped cream.

The first pancake is almost always a disaster, though. Just like when we try out things for the first time. Like blogging? I still have not figured this whole thing out, but in time I will.

Right now, the blog is kind of sticky, left too long in the pan to burn. But soon, the unexpected bubble will burst and I’ll be off to write multiple posts.

Preferably multiple times per week, if not daily in the end. That would surely be fun! I just haven’t found my schedule yet.

Sometimes life is weird and pancakes are burnt. That should not keep us from moving forward, though

I’ve read that writing often helps to get more views. Just like having one pancake is just not enough 😂.

Imperfections make life interesting

I’m not a perfect person, but I do strive towards having fun in life. When you wander through your life, you might stop and wonder how crazy it can be at times?

That is why the importance of timing is often crucial. If the timing is right, you end up with a perfect tasty pancake (and blog) and if not… Well, we all know how that can go, right? Especially if the blogger had a huge following to boot.

Let’s all take a chill pill and keep on blogging shall we

That is also why this blog and this new adventure of mine will take off kind of slowly. It’s just like when you’re making that first pancake. It looks a bit pale, and you wait impatiently for the bubbles to arrive on top.

And then you flip it.
If all is right, you will have a taste of heaven.

The batter matters

And also what you put into your life, and to your blog. What ingredients you put into this batter can help improve the taste. There are different ingredients to make it healthier.

You can forego the eggs and substitute with a banana. Personally, I dabble in plant-based cooking. It’s all the hype and has been for years. I live in the heart of Europe. It’s pretty easy to get all the ingredients you need for a healthy lifestyle.

Still, I might be the oddball making plenty of pancakes here. But that’s what makes it so much more fun to live. Spice things up, live a little different. Inspire people to be different!

It is truly a marvel to see when I can see change in others and improve their knowledge and life.

Smile, folks – this is our time to shine

This is also why I will try my hardest to keep this blog on a happy note. Of course, life is filled with sadness sometimes. It can’t always be perfect. When the happy times come, I will share them, but also if some sad things should arise.

All while keeping my privacy, so I can keep making those pancakes in peace.

What about the toppings?

Well, in the U.S and Canada I’ve heard that syrup it’s the best to put on top. In parts of Europe, whipped cream and jam is the way to go. Other countries just put fruits and berries on, and some eat them plain.

There are also savory pancakes, so the sky is basically the limit here. You take what you’d like and put it on top. Either way, I hope it will taste great!

If I refer the topic of toppings to blogging, I welcome the odd. I also welcome the un-ordinary. The different. The new. Anything that can make both me the writer of this blog, and you the reader to learn. It’s important to keep us all inspired and continue to write.

That is why I welcome subscribers all over the world and in my comments section below. I also have a contact page. I’d love to see that one be filled out often with something besides spam. So far I’ve only received mail about improving my SEO?!

That is no fun…

We can always experiment with our pancakes (and our blogs)

And that’s also what I’m kind of doing, until I have hit the recipe for success. As someone might have said; From blueberry pancakes to chocolate chip stacks, variety keeps things interesting. So will do that too. I will try and not be “boring”, even if we all need days like that. Since there are so many toppings and different ways to make a pancake, I figure blogging is the same. I mean, who could resist a really tasty pancake, right?

Let’s share in the love that WordPress can give us through writing and making pancakes

Sharing makes eating pancakes taste better.

And blogging more fun.

For now I'd like to keep this blog a thing on fedorapancakes.com/, since the reader is the place to be.

**But, oh! I forgot I added a bluesky account as well, but that’s probably all the social media I will have.**

I’ve read and heard so many say that the majority of their followers come from this reader. So I will try and rely on that too.

The mess in the kitchen is part of the process 😉

Drips, spills, and burnt edges happen, but that doesn’t mean you should give up. Sometimes the most imperfect pancakes (and moments) turn out to be the best stories.

At the end of the day, life—like pancakes—isn’t about perfection. It’s about embracing the process, laughing at the flops, and enjoying the good parts (preferably with extra syrup). Some days, you’ll flip things at just the right moment. Other days, you’ll end up with a burnt mess. Then you’ll wonder what went wrong?

Keep showing up. Adjust the heat, and try again. You’ll always end up with something worth savoring. So, here’s to embracing the delicious, messy, unpredictable pancake stack of life—one imperfect bite at a time.

Let’s sprinkle this blog with some sunshine. Let’s also sprinkle the pancakes of our lives with the likes of you.
