I wasn’t gonna break my privacy here on this blog, but WordPress wanted to know what my middle names are and what they mean, so I thought I’d share them with you. Now, of course, since I write with privacy in mind – these names are of course not real, but they are significant to this blog and why I write on it the way I do. Now, let’s introduce myself – again to all my precious readers, both previous and future ones:
Hey,
My name is Fedora Mayhem Serendipity Pancakes. It’s a name that tells many stories to be honest. Mayhem reflects the unpredictable, free spirited nature of my writing style where my thoughts spill onto the page in wild and unexpected ways. It’s the spark of inspiration that refuses to be tamed, roar!

Serendipity is on the other hand something that represents the beautiful accidents that occur in life. The moments of clarity that comes out of nowhere and the joy of discovering ideas you never set out to find.
Together these names embody a blogging style that’s spontaneous and very meaningful because randomness and purpose collide in the most delightful way. At the end of the day, Fedora Pancakes writes whatever tickles her fancy and I intend to embrace the mayhem and trusting the serendepity.
Fedora Mayhem Serendipity Pancakes is not just a name, it’s a whole identity, a philosophy and a state of mind. Mayhem is the untamed energy of creativity, the whirlwind of thoughts that refuse to be neatly categorized. It’s the spark behind spontaneous ideas and the delightful chaos of exploring new topics without overthinking, even if I do tend to do that from time to time 😅. It is what makes writing fun, unpredictable and sometimes just a bit ridiculous and crazy – but in the best way possible, because I’m the one who’s writing it and thinking it up.
Then there’s Serendipity, the happy accidents that make everything come together in a whimsical and perhaps a fucked up way at times. It’s the unexpected joy of stumbling upon a brilliant idea mid-paragraph since the perfect blog post wasn’t planned but had to be written by me. It’s the magic of inspiration showing up when you least expect it, and it’s the reason why my newly found schedule of writing every other day so far gets jumbled. It’s because I have ideas that I have to share and it’s making my most chaotic thoughts feel like they were always meant to be.
And of course, to finish off – there’s Pancakes. Why? Because life and blogging should always have a little bit, or a lot of sweetness, people! Fedora Pancakes is not here to fit into a neat little box. I’m here to embrace the mayhem, chase the serendipity and serve up whatever quirky, heartfelt or completely off the wall ideas come to mind. That’s because, at the end of the day – what is the fun in being predictable?
