This is a poem I’ve been thinking about writing for weeks, but the words struggle to come out. Let’s hope I can finally fix that issue.

I am not alone
Because I have you.

You've always been there
from the moment I was born
until the day I will perish from this earth.

I've always liked you
Perhaps loved you.
Well...
Now I know I love you.

You're awesome
You're so unique
You have my back
You accept my quirks
My weirdness...

It took time to find you
truly.
Lately I've been focusing on everything else
The wrong goals
The wrong people
But now I know...

I am not alone,
Because I have you.

Who are you?
You feel so familiar...
Well, now I know...

You are me.

And that's why I'm not alone.

Because I have me.
