If my brain had a customer service hotline…

Buckle up! This is gonna be a fun ride. And inspirational of course!
Do you ever wish you could submit a formal complaint to your own brain?

“Hello, yes, I’d like to report a glitch—I walked into a room and forgot why I came in.”

Fedora Pancake’s hotline

What kind of hold music would play? Would it put you on hold at the worst possible moments?

Or what about that classic that goes something like this:

“My life is like a Google Web Browser. I have 42 tabs open. 5 of them are frozen and I don’t know where the music is coming from”.

About 32% of the population feels like this daily, I bet

I bet that is what my personal customer service hotline would be like, should my brain have one 😂.

Being messy, whimsical, quirky and weird are not really unique qualities.

But I still strive towards being all of those as often as possible. It makes life more fun when you do not conform to society’s rules and regulations. Not that I ever would do anything criminal, of course. I’m just proud of my oddities and my whacky and cooky life that I’m currently living like so many others are. I’m glad I’m not alone here, both in the blogosphere and elsewhere in the world.

My WordPress Journey and what to users feel about using fedorapancakes.com/

I've only written a few posts so far here on fedorapancakes.com/, but I'm so proud of all of them. It makes me so happy to see the subscriber list growing and the comments coming in. Not to mention the likes! I'm not alone in liking this platform. According to chatGPT, this is what users of fedorapancakes.com/ loves about blogging here:

Ease of Use: Many appreciate its simplicity, noting that even beginners can quickly set up a website using the available themes and plugins. I can personally relate to this as well. I’ve tried self-hosting before I created this blog and that was a mess.

All-in-One Solution: Users value the comprehensive nature of fedorapancakes.com/, which includes hosting, domain registration, and design options, ensuring compatibility and reducing the need for external services. I can agree to this too, since it's awesome having so many things related to your blog in the same location. Everything from domains to email.

Customer Support: The platform’s 24/7 support is frequently praised, with users finding the support team responsive and helpful in resolving issues. This is true if you have a paid plan. I use the Premium one, and I really recommend it to all users if you can afford it. You can pay for a plan, monthly, yearly, bi-yearly or every 3 years. The last choice makes it a whole lot cheaper, so if you can afford that, I really recommend that too.

reddit.com

Performance: Users have reported impressive website speed and performance, with fast page loading times contributing to a positive user experience. This is true for me as well. When I tried self-hosting, I used shared hosts, and it’s so slow and filled with problems.

Also if you self-host you have to pay for jetpack in some way to get into the fedorapancakes.com/ reader feature the proper way. If you use the free version of jetpack your blog will only be shown in search or in the sidebar.

Thanks, chatGPT for the links to the posts that talks about these points. Now, here’s a photo that’s AI generated to show a crowd of people giving the thumbs up. Personally I’m thinking they’re all for me. Or at least in time they will be for me 😂. I’m starting an empire here with amazing blog posts and I hope that the readers will be coming in huge waves here soon enough.

This is how I imagine my readers looking like after reading one of my posts

The topic of this post is more about the weird and fantastic, though. I know I mention writing, making pancakes and WordPress in almost every post, but for now those are topics that suits this blog very well.

In time I will move on and talk about all the topics, really. Well, perhaps not politics. That’s not a suitable topic for this blog, or this author!

Embracing Whimsy

Being whimsical is all about embracing the fun and quirky aspects of life. Here are some ways I keep the whimsy alive:

  • Random Acts of Kindness: Surprise a friend with homemade pancakes just because. Or anything else they might like to eat. Not everybody are in to pancakes. And there’s always crepes as well 😂.
  • Creative Outlets: Experiment with art, whether it’s doodling, painting, or digital creations. You can do it on paper, or digitally. I mostly use creative writing to express myself through this blog
  • Playfulness in Writing: Use humor and unexpected twists in my blog posts. That is why I so often refer to pancakes here, because it makes the blog a bit tastier and more intriguing to read in my opinion.

Being a little bit different than others is something I think everybody in the world can benefit from being around. If all people were the same, we would never learn, and never make new things. Without change, life itself would be pretty pointless in my view and who would want to go through life without ever changing absolutely anything? Not me, that’s for sure. I thrive for change, even though some changes can be really hard to do.

Let’s take each other by the hand and go through life together, no matter what happens and thrive, live and love

Conclusion

In a world that often feels heavy, I choose to celebrate the weirdness and whimsy of life. Whether it’s through fluffy pancakes or quirky blog posts, I strive to make this journey a delightful ride for both myself and my readers. Join me as we flip pancakes and revel in the whimsical adventures that await!
