For those of us using self-hosted WordPress blogs, we have an additional advantage: the Link Manager. Although it’s not enabled by default, turning it on is straightforward. You can do this by adding a simple line of code to your theme’s functions.php file, like so:

Once activated, you can access it by going to the “Links” menu in your dashboard. This feature allows you to organize, monitor, and optimize links all in one place—a fantastic resource for managing both internal and external connections. If you host a multisite installation, it’s even simpler. All you have to do then, is go to the site’s settings on your network page and change the 0 to a 1 on the link manager field and save.
