Share Your World: Heating, Temperature, Appealing food & Sunsets

It’s a little bit late on a Monday evening, but hey – it’s at least a new week, a new day and a new month, so let’s get started!

  1. Is your home heated by radiators, underfloor heating or an open fire?

Radiators, but I have no idea what’s in them and what’s really heating them up. I think there’s water in them, but no clue. Me and the BF lives in an apartment building so I at least know nothing about this. I just know our place is warm all year round 😂.
  2. What is a comfortable temperature in the colder months for your home?

This building is hot and I don’t think we’ve ever been able to have an indoor temperature below 21°C (70°F). It’s not unusual to have it being around 24°C in the summer or warmer than that. Sadly we can’t control it either. We can open the windows and let the wind cool the place down, but as soon as that’s done, the temperature goes up again, so it’s kind of moot. Regarding what’s comfy, I’d say about 21°. I like to be under a blanket no matter what temperature if I’m honest. Can’t concentrate on a movie without that blanket, right?
  3. What is more appealing, a mug of hot coffee or tea, a bowl of warming soup, or stew and dumplings?

Probably that soup or stew, but it depends on what it contains of course. I hate dumplings, so that’s a no-go, but depending on context the other stuff could be really welcomed. My favorite tea is Rooibos or however you spell it and I like coffee if there’s oat milk in it. Otherwise it usually tastes like crap to me 😂.
  4. Would you prefer to share the dawning of a new day or a beautiful sunset?

Probably a sunset, since I’m basically always asleep (or trying to sleep) when the sun rises. I do tend to miss sunsets though. I’m way too busy watching TV 😎.

Gratitude:

“At the end of the day, what really matters is that your loved ones are well, you’ve done your best and that you’re thankful for all you have”.

Yep. I agree.
