Sharing my world: What can I NOT live without?!

Daily writing prompt
What are three objects you couldn’t live without?

Today is a first for this blog to officially partake in a new blogging challenge. It’s Share My World from Pensivity101! As with most other blogging challenges I’ve seen inside the WordPress community, I’ve been lurking and loving what I read from others, and now it’s time to be a part of this.

Today’s questions from Pensivity101 also coincides with the daily prompt from WordPress themselves, so that was a bit funny. I’ve seen others merging prompts and blogging challenges, so that made me think that it’s fine to do so, right?

I look forward to answering these questions and I will answer them with privacy in mind of course. That’s always important to me!

  1. Which of the following could you NOT do without?
Automatic washing machine, TV/cable, Microwave oven.
  2. Which would be your priority of these:
a warm coat or a comfortable pair of shoes.
  3. Would you rather have a hot cup of tea/coffee or hot soup?
  4. If you had the choice rather than necessity/cost effectiveness, would you rather rent a property, buy with a mortgage, or share with family/friends and split the cost?

What can’t I live without?

To be honest I’d require all of them if one is to be realistic about life and the daily stuff inside of it. No ordinary household should be without a washing machine at least and a TV is an absolute must. A microwave is great for diminishing dishes since one can make their breakfast porridge in a bowl instead of on the stove. Not to mention how easy it is to pop some popcorn in one and heat up leftovers.

I do think that I would “survive” without a microwave and a washing machine, at least if it’s possible to have access to a laundromat of some kind. To be without a washing machine completely would be like living in the 1800’s again when you only did the washing a few times per year, and that is totally unacceptable! And it’s not like I could ask my mother to do my laundry either, because that’s just silly of me to do.

A warm coat or a comfy pair of shoes?

I have to say that I can’t choose there either. It all depends on the weather I guess. If it’s warm enough that I did not need a jacket, the shoes are my choice of course, because I love taking long walks in a pair of comfy shoes when it’s warm enough outside to do so. If it’s really cold and a snowy winter, I do have the experience of wearing uncomfortable shoes with a nice and warm jacket, so I guess in that case my jacket would be my choice. Context is key, people! But comfy shoes is really key as well and I personally think that one should be comfy at all times no matter what the situation is and that is especially true during cold winters.

Tea, soup or coffee?

It’s context based here as well for me. Of course I like to eat or drink all of it, but it depends on what I’m in the mood for. Caffeine is something I usually have in the morning or before noon, so it doesn’t disturb my sleep and I rarely eat soup to be honest 😂. It can be really tasty, but I prefer my pancakes 😉. There’s a soup I absolutely enjoy though, that’s really easy to make, but I only have that in the fall or winter usually. Summer or spring is not really soup weather, right?

Buy a property or share it with friends?

This question is a bit too personal to answer, so I’m choosing not to. I hope that’s alright.

Gratitude:

Thank you all for reading, following and subscribing. Earlier during the weekend, we got our first real follower in the Fediverse and that’s absolutely amazing! I really appreciate all who follows me no matter what platform, though.

The image below is from Pensivity101 so thank you for letting us use it. I can agree with what the image says:

I may not have everything I want in life, but I'm blessed enough to have all that I need. For this I am grateful.

Thanks for reading! I’ll see you next time!
