I sure do hope so at least. Have you missed me? I have missed you. It’s been an incredible year and I had to focus on other things in my life, but now it’s time to really go back to writing. How often, I do not know, but at least a few times per week if not daily.

I’m also back on WordPress.com!

I tried self-hosting and it was a shit show. I barely wrote anything and had almost no visitors, but the host continued to have some serious performance issues and now I’m so sick and tired of them. Also with WordPress 7.0 coming out and wp.com adding so many features to even the personal plan, I’ve paid up for a year with that one and we shall see if that’s enough for me or not. It sure does look fantastic if I’m honest.

So, what have I missed while I’ve been gone?

Any new news within the blogosphere that I probably have completely missed? What’s going on with Kymber over at Booooomcha? Is Fandango still as pissed off at the president? Is Veselin still working with WordPress? There are so many more to mention and I’ve barely even thought of blogging since I took a break last fall. I hope you’ve missed me and that we’re happily gonna reconnect now. Hey, it’s Mercury Retrograde anyway and that’s a time for reconnection along with technical glitches and communication issues, so I’m all up for that.

So what’s new with me, then?

Wel… I’ve got happy news to share. I’ve got a job! I’ve had a long internship going on since forever it seems and I finally got hired. It took a while, but it was worth the wait. It means a tripled income and when I get a raise etc, it will be quadrupled, which is what I need. The best stuff is yet to come, though. I’m hoping to move into a bigger place soon enough and sometime during the spring of next year, a new family member will arrive and I can’t wait. Just to clarify, that will be somebody with 4 paws and a tail going woof! The two legged creatures I’m leaving for those better equipped to handle that.
